Andrea Zamudio
Specialized Academic Instruction Teacher
I have been working in the special education field for fifteen years. I began working as a Special Education Instructional Assistant in 2009 and was moved onto becoming the K-5th Special Education teacher in 2020. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands with my Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Special Education in 2017. I also earned a minor in Psychology. In 2020, I obtained my Education Specialist Credential from the University of La Verne. Just recently in 2023, I earned my Masters in Education with a special emphasis in Special Education from the University of La Verne. I've always had a passion to teach children and demonstrate that anything is possible with ganas (desire) and believing in yourself.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, attending Dodger games, traveling and creating new memories.
I am beyond excited to be working with your child this school year. I couldn't have picked a better school to pursue my dream of teaching.
